Sometimes I just wish I could disappear is about a thought I had in my head. I’m sure that all of us feel like this at one point or another!
The man disappearing in front of the sea or rather reappearing there in my case, is to get away from all of the daily mishmash that builds up on us. It just gets so overwhelming… Bills, appointments, family matters, being pulled from pillar to post. It just gets on top of you and all you want to do is to just disappear to a quiet place. In my mind my quiet place is a beach in Thailand or the Maldives! I painted this piece so that people could relate to this thought and feeling. I also painted it to release the tension inside, and how grateful I am for having done it!
We have a wide range of oil paintings, but if you would prefer something else similar to this painting see our great range of limited edition prints – HERE
