About Oil Paints
Oil paint is a type of slow-drying paint that consists of particles of pigment suspended in a drying oil, commonly linseed oil. The viscosity of the paint can be changed by the addition of a solvent such as turpentine or and odourless spirit such as Sansodor or Zest it, and varnish may be added to increase the glossiness of the dried oil paint film later on.
The Six Week Course – Step by step painting
Areas covered below will be from the very start of a painting to the finish, it’s a continual process whereas Póilín will paint with you and show you the mixing of colours on the palette to application of paint to the canvas.
Every step is explained thoroughly through close-up camera work along with lighting ensuring high clarity for the participant.
